HR4ID is a community of researchers, organizations and human rights advocates in digital systems. Its work focuses on producing knowledge and disseminating information related to the state of digital rights globally.

The Challenge

To define a brand identity that promotes participation and a sense of community around digital rights, playing with elements of digital culture while maintaining the professionalism of the organization.

The Solution

The project began with a key decision: color. We chose a visual tension between vibrant, acidic colors and neutral, stable ones. We then delved into digital rights and their challenges, which led us to combine the optical scanner with the idea of ​​community as a symbol. Finally, we incorporated a futuristic typeface and created a family of stencil-style icons to reinforce the brand’s character.

In web development, we focused on a narrative that highlighted community and the dissemination of knowledge. To this end, we created interactive maps that allow users to visualize the state of digital rights in various countries around the world.
